As in the earlier story, Horton the elephant finds himself at the center of one chaotic situation after another, usually being ridiculed, while he clings both to his values and his goal. Part science fiction, part social commentary, Horton Hears a Who is as much at home in high school and college classes as it is in grade schools today.
